Cwmifor Baptist Church was built in 1789, enlarged in 1836 and renovated in 1864. The present building, dated 1864, is Simple Round-Headed in style with a long-wall entry plan.

Bethel Chapel was built in 1896 in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type. By 1997 the building was in use as a chapel of rest.
