Horeb Chapel was built in 1804 and enlarged in 1829. The rebuild of 1869 was designed by architect R. Moffat Smith of Manchester, an is built in the Lombardic style with a gable-entry plan.

Ebenezer Baptist Chapel was built c.1794 and rebuilt in 1816 and rebuilt/extended in 1842. By 1989 this chapel had been deolished.

Garth Road Methodist Chapel and Sunday School were built in 1895. The chapel is stone built in the Gothic style, with a gable entry plan, two storeys, a tower, bell-cote and spire.
