the cause here was started by Thomas Griffiths, Hawen. In 1832 a Sunday school was started in an empty house belonging to josuah Jone, Blaentir and in the following year he gave them his own house ...
The chapel was built in 1908 (S. Walters) in the classical style, gable entry type; by the later C20 it was used as a carpenter's store. Status (1998): other (carpenter's store).
