Lion Street Independent Chapel was built in 1867 to the design of architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. This chapel was demolished in 1987.

Horeb Baptist Chapel was built in 1823 and rebuilt in 1862. The later chapel was built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type, to the design of architect Thomas Thomas of Landore.

The former Bible Christian Chapel in Blaenavon was built in 1860 in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable-entry type. By 2001 this chapel had been converted for other use.
