Cwmgrenig Sunday School was built before1901 in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable-entry plan. By 1997 the building was disused.

Elim Independent Chapel was built in 1849 and renovated in 1887. The chapel is built with a long wall entry plan with two doorways flanking a pair of round-headed windows.
