- Summary: Carmel Baptist Chapel was built in 1841 and rebuilt in 1852. The later chapel was built in the Sub-Classical style, with rounded window moldings and two integral columns to the central door entry. The name plaque has an arts and crafts style décor and script. The chapel is two storey, with an entry to the gallery via stairs positioned either side of the central entry. The ground floor is also entered via doors positioned either side of the central doorway. The pulpit is positioned in front of the rear wall and there appears to be space for an organ, but there is also a central door to the rear ancillary rooms. The rooms to the rear are entered via two sets of doors positioned either side of the pulpit. There are five rooms in the ancillary block and a stair case leading either up or down to further room/s.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
