- Summary: Gibeon Independent Chapel which was first built in 1854, and subsequently altered or rebuilt in 1860 by the architect Reverend Thomas Thomas of Landore and builder J.Steadman of Port Talbot. It underwent further alteration in 1910. The present chapel, dated 1860, is built in the Sub-Classical and Lombardic/Italian styles with a gable-entry plan. The main facade has a central doorway with a curved pediment supported by two pairs of Corinthian columns; over this is a vential window, the outer two lights with marginal glazing. The main pediment is decorated with a dentilated cornice and central roundel window.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
