- Summary: Bethania Independent Chapel was first built in 1855 and then rebuilt 1859 in the Classical style of the gable-entry type. The chapel has a vestry/hall/sunday school to the righthand side of the chapel and a long-wall entry plan. Bethania is now Grade 2 Listed for it's fine well-preserved interior.
RCAHMW, July 2010 - Description: Built in 1854, rebuilt 1859.Classical style, gable entry type. Present status [1998]: ChapelVestry building adjoining right side elevation is the original chapel.
Chapel random rubble stone walling rendered over with cement plaster facing. Vestry (original chapel) square rough dressed stonework. Window quoins & arches outlined in a buff colour face brick. Roofs are of timber framing clad with Welsh slate.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
