- Summary: Bethesda Independent Chapel was first built in 1848, rebuilt in 1866 and rebuilt again in 1886. The current chapel, probably dating from 1886, is built in a mixture of the Classical and Ilaliate styles with a gable-entry plan. The central doorway has heavy stepped voussoirs and above it is a Venetian style window with marginal glazing. Either side of the central bay, and in the side elevation, are full height, round-headed windows, also with marginal glazing.
RCAHMW, July 2010 - Description: Built in 1845/8, modified, altered or rebuilt 1866 and 1886. Built in Italianate/Classical style, gable entry type. Date of chapel: 1886. Present status [2003]: gym RCCEORBWM of 1905 states that Bethesda has accomodation for 180 at other Schools and Mission Rooms.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
