- Summary: Tabernacle Methodist Chapel was built in 1868 and rebuilt in 1904. The later chapel, was built in the Gothic style, with a gable-entry plan, two storeys, and flanking turrets. By 2000 Tabernacle had been converted for other use.

RCCEORBWM of 1905 states that Tabernacle has accomodation for 150 in other associated Schools and Mission Rooms.
Site shown on OS 25" map 1918 as 'Sion Chapel', marked on OS 6" map 1900 as Chapel. GAW, 25/01/2000.
Correspondence notes state that the former C18th chapel has now been coverted to a Community Centre and that, it had been used as a place of worship by the Salvation Army, prior to closure some years ago. GAW,01/02/2000. - Built: 1904 Source:RCCEORBWM

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
