- Summary: Trinity Methodist Chapel and schoolroom were built in 1896 to the design of architects Alfred Victor Ingall & Sons of Birmingham. The chapel is built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry and cruciform plan, leaded windows and a large integral tower.Trinity is now Grade 2 Listed as an elaborate late nineteenth century chapel with a prominent spire in the city.

MAIN NOTEWORTHY FEATURE of MAIN BUILDING / COMPLEX:
Built 1896 -7 by the United Methodist Free Church, formerly in Guildford Street (Llewellyn James), now a congregation derived from those of Newport Road, Roath Road and Broadway.
Huge range of vernacular Gothic buildings including Gothic Revival cruciform plan chapel with semi-octagonal apse (each splay with own gabled roof) and transepts. Massive corner tower with limestone octagonal base, splay footed spire, corner spirelets.
Large stone finials to corners of transepts, open tracery to secondary spire framing main facade.
Circular window over projecting centre bay enclosing the main entrance.
Interior now concentrated on very ornate sanctuary area in apse; but with highly decorative stone and timber carving throughout particularly in relation to roof structure and supports. - Built: 1896 Source:Welsh Office

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
