GENERAL CONDITION OF BUILDING AS AT SURVEY:
CHERISHED BUT STRUGGLING
MAIN NOTEWORTHY FEATURE of MAIN BUILDING / COMPLEX:
Small dignified building, gable facade in Blue pennant sandstone, ashlar moulding details in style older than its construction date of 1926.
Unusually deep overhanging eaves to buttressed side elevations.
Neat use of stone to balance the facade.
Interior large, simple space, no subdivisions of the chapel area but original schoolroom suite to rear of building.
New extension in carpark now the administrative HQ of the URC parish.
[Additional:] Foundation stones on pilaster-buttresses of front (gable) elevation:
(1) (right) 'To the glory of God/ and the extension of His Kingdom. Laid by/ Arthur GeorgeJones,/ Oct. 7th 1926,/ in memory of his devoted wife, Anne,/ who died July 18th 1926.'

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
