- Summary: Bethel Methodist Chapel was built in 1809, rebuilt in 1847 and again in 1865. The present chapel, dated 1865, is built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan, stone walls, two storeys and round-headed windows.
RCAHMW, May 2010 - Description: Chapel built 1809; rebuilt/modified 1846-7 & 1865 & enlarged 1930. Building style is Classical, gable entry type. Status (1996): in chapel use. Founded 1808, rebuilt 1863, enlarged 1930 (GGAT).
Stone-built & rendered gable-end-entry, vestible & stairs plan. Interior with 3-sided gallery, pulpit/sedd fawr opposite the entry & flat plaster ceiling with cornice & rose. 2-storey, rendered, 3 window, pedimented façade with windows in recess, round-arched over flat-headed. Central flat-headed entry with cornice & raised surround, whole framed by recessed stone stair towers projecting at sides, similar side windows.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
