- Summary: Siloa Independent Chapel was built in 1844, rebuilt in 1855, and then renovated in 1875, 1890 and 1957. The present chapel, dated 1855. is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type. Siloa is now Grade 2 Listed 'as one of the foremost Congregational chapels in Wales' (CADW).
RCAHMW, April 2010 - Description: Chapel built 1844 & rebuilt in 1855. Renovated in 1875, 1890 & 1957. Building style is sub-classical, gable entry type. Building is listed Grade 2. Status (2004): in chapel use.
RCCEORBWM of 1905 states that Siloa has accomodation for 250 at associated schools and mission rooms.
Main walls random stone rubble walling rendered with cement plaster facing. Roofs are of timber framing clad with Welsh slate. Notes from I D Jones 10/01/1998.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
