- Summary: Nebo Independent Chapel was first built in 1823 and rebuilt on a larger scale in 1830. The chapel was rebuilt again in 1836, 1851 and again in 1890. The present chapel, dated 1890, is constructed in the Sub-Classical style with simple round-headed first floor windows and a hipped box plan. Nebo is now Grade 2 Listed for it's 'architectural interest as one of the earliest surviving chapels in the region, retaining mid C19 external character with an unaltered later C19 interior;(CADW).

In 2009, the chapel was closed and put up for sale.
Capel, Spring 2009 - Description: Chapel built 1823 & enlarged 1830. Rebuilt/modified 1836, 1851 & ca.1890. Building style is sub-classical with simple round-headed 1st floor windows., short-wall entry type. Building is listed Grade 2. Status (2004): in chapel use.
The chapel is being converted into a dwelling.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
