Geograph website, 2011 - Description: Church formed 1841 & probably built ca. 1840; (re)built 1861. There was still a chapel in 1966, but by 1995 it had been demolished and services were held in the vestry. Built in the later Vernacular style, gable entry type. Status (1998): [vestry] in chapel use.
Rectangular Baptist chapel now demolished, vestry remains with adjoining linear outbuilding (ruinous). From map evidence the chapel was originally rectangular with it main axis approximately east-west. The vestry (same orientation) lies adjacent, north of the site of the chapel, to which it was formerly attached. The building has pebble-dashed elevations under a pitched slate roof with projecting eaves and plain barge-board. The south wall, formerly against the chapel, is buttressed towards the east end. To the west of the buttress is a low arch headed slate tablet with the inscription - "BETHEL / CAPEL Y BEDYDDWYR". The entrance to the building is through the gabled porch situated to the left side in the east gable. The porch has single rectangular T&G door with projecting slate step, other details as main façade. To the right (north) of the porch is a large round headed recessed window with single transom and two mullions of wood, (obscure glazing below transom, clear above - central upper casement) and projecting slate sill. The north elevation has 2 rectangular windows with "T" arranged lights and upper casements. Low outbuilding with single pitch corrugated roof attached to west end of north elevation.
Chapel forecourt fronted by rubble wall; limestone gate posts support wrought iron double gates: verticals projecting above upper rail finished with nail headed finials, central rail has scrolled decoration and leaf type spear head finials to verticals.

Hello
My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website. I have now located it on Google Street View – looks like someone is ‘doing it up’ to live in: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.2612635,-3.1095337,3a,90y,232.95h,84.26t/data=!3m9!1e1!3m7!1s-8DWPORkq2RFVNXBLde_-g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!9m2!1b1!2i53?hl=en-GB
The marriage record of my ancestors Abraham Bounds and Elizabeth Williams is attached. I hope it is of interest.
All the best
