- Summary: Llanfaethlu Methodist Chapel was first built in 1839 to the design of Richard Jones of Llanfwrog. This was modified in 1860 and then rebuilt in 1878 by architect Richard Davies of Bangor. Further rebuilding work took place in 1908, under architect Joseph Owen of Menai Bridge, and a Sunday School added in 1905. The present chapel, dated 1908, is built in the Arts and Craft style of the long-wall entry type.
RCAHMW, February 2010 - Description: Chapel first built 1839/40 to the design of Richard Jones, Llanfwrog. Rebuilt/modified 1860, & again 1878 to the design of Richard Davies of Bangor. Further rebuilding/modification 1908 to the design of Joseph Owen of Menai Bridge. Sunday School (& manse?) added 1905. Built in the Arts and Craft style, long-wall entry type. Status (1998): in chapel use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
