- Summary: Caergeiliog Methodist Chapel was built in 1780, rebuilt in 1818 and rebuilt again in 1872. The present chapel, dated 1872, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable-entry type. A chapel house dates from the early nineteenth century. Caergeiliog is now Grade 2 Listed.
RCAHMW, February 2010 - Description: The chapel was built in 1780 (or 1786) & rebuilt/modified 1818 & 1872. Early-C19 chapel house. Building is listed Grade 2. Built in the Simple Round-Headed style, gable entry type. Status (1998): in chapel use.
Stone-built chapel, Rendered and painted front with rustictaed quoins. Central arched entrance with fanlight with radial tracery, moulded archivolt on shaped brackets; plaque over; arched flanking windows. 3 arched windows "to aisle"/ side elevations.
Early-C19 house adjoining the chapels: 2 storeys, 2 bays, with 2-storey, 2-bay wing on N (information from entry in Welsh Office's provisional list for Valley R D, surveyed 07/1966). - Built: 1780 Source:Welsh Office

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
