- Summary: The present Moriah Chapel structure dates from 1865, according to a slate wall plaque inscribed "Moriah 1865" on the gabled porch. It is a long-wall entry chapel built in the Vernacular style. There are two windows to the left of the porch on the side facing the road. It has a slate roof with red-tile ridge and two recent rooflights. The site is enclosed by low dry-stone wall. By the late twentieth century Moriah had been converted into a house.
RCAHMW, February 2010 - Description: Present chapel structure dates from ca. 1865 (plaque). Long-wall entry, vernacular style chapel with pebbledash coating; it has undergone late-C20 alterations through conversion to a house. Long-wall entry facade with r.h. gabled porch with slate date plaque just below its apex, inscribed: "Moriah/1865"; two windows to l.h., presently plastic-framed. Stone NE. gable. Slate roof with red tile ridge & 2 recent rooflights. Chapel site enclosed by low dry stone wall. Now known as "Capel Moriah". Status (2003): other (house).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
