- Summary: The English Congregational Chapel in Corwen was opened in 1880 and is constructed with red brick in a Gothic design. It has a gable entry and ashlar dressings with a slate roof with red tile cresting. The central pointed doorway has flanking Gothic columns under a gabled canopy with a date plaque and kneelers. The flanking two-light Y-traceried windows have daggers and there is a plate-traceried wheel window. By 2003 it was no longer used as a chapel and housed Corwen Creative Arts.
RCAHMW, May 2009 - Description: Present chapel built/opened in 1880. Cost £800. Red brick Gothic design with gable entry & ashlar dressings; slate roof with red tile cresting. Centre pointed doorway with flanking Gothic columns under gabled canopy with date plaque & kneelers; flanking 2-light Y-traceried windows with daggers; plate tracery wheel window and angle buttresses. Four paired lancets with ashlar heads & brick dressings to each return. Blind red brick rear gable. Status (2003): other (Corwen Creative Arts 1995).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
