RCAHMW, January 2010 - Description: The congregation traces its history back to 1717, and the church was formed in 1727. The first chapel was built in 1760, and was either rebuilt or modified in 1828 being opened on the 6th & 7th of May 1829 , and further enlarged in 1879. The present chapel is in the italinate style, with a gable entry plan. The Sunday School was built in 1880 and a house was added 1885. Status (2001): in chapel use.
The church was formed in 1727 (2001 Llawlyfr of Undeb Bedyddwyr Cymru). A chapel was built in 1760 and rebuilt in 1828 (1851 Religious Census; date plaque) and opened? On 6 & 7 May, 1829 (BCS/ BGC). The chapel was remodelled/ rebuilt as at present in 1879 (J B Sinclair & R W D Fenn, Marching to Zion: Radnorshire chapels (1990)). A Sunday School was built in 1880, and opened? My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
