- Summary: Bagillt Congregational Chapel was built in 1877. it is constructed of brick in contrasting red and yellow colours, red used on the ground floor and for the opening dressings and yellow in the upper storey. It is designed in the simple Gothic style of the gable-entry plan type. There is a wide lean-to porch, with a gabled doorway projection to the centre containing a three-order pointed arch surround of moulded brick set with plain boarded, double doors. Above the porch is a triple light window, the centre light taller than the outer two. All have pointed arch heads and small pane glazing. There is a large arch hood mould spanning the width of the window in the gable, and further moulded bricks form a four-stepped cornice. Pilasters to eaves level at the outer corners.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
