- Summary: Soar (2) Methodist Chapel was built in 1868, rebuilt in 1895 and a schoolroom added in 1936. The present chapel, dated 1895, is asingle-storey and brick-built, in the Sub-Classical Arts and Craft style with a gable-entry plan. It has segmental headed windows with drip mouldings, a pedimented gable, with corner pillasters and tripartite windows over the porch entry.
RCAHMW, January 2010 - Description: The chapel was built 1868, and then rebuilt/modified in 1895. A schoolroom was added in 1936. The rebuilt/modified chapel is single-storey, and brick-built, in the Sub-Classical Arts and Craft style, with a gable-entry plan type. It has segmental headed windows with drip mouldings, a pedimented gable, with corner pillasters. It has tripartite windows over the porch entry, with flanking windows. In use as a chapel in the late-20th century.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
