- Summary: Bethania Methodist Chapel was built in 1865 rebuilt in 1891 and again in 1912. The present chapel, dated 1912, is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type.
The gable façade faces to the road and has a wide, flat roofed porch, the central bay projected out with a double, panelled door. Over the porch is a Venetian window, with small pane glazing, fan-headed to the central round-headed light. Short pilasters run between the height of the porch and the moulded stringcourse which runs across the façade at eaves level and over the Venetian window to form the hood mould for the central light. Full height pilasters at the outer corners. The outer bays are lit at galley level by small oval windows with raditaing glazing bars, and a further window, also oval,is situated in the apex of the pediment. There is a carved stone garland over this.
There are round-headed windows with circular and small paned glazing to the side elevations. Set slightly bach from the front gable, an octagonal cupola with a vertical section containing vents topped by a domed roof.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
