- Summary: Hill Street Presbytrian Chapel was built in 1872 in the Romanesque style of the gable entry type. The chapel was later modified in 1889, renovated in1921 and new fittings added in 1960. The Manse was built in 1878 and a new schoolroom in 1887.

The cause was started in a house on Furnace Bank off Chapel Street in 1868 with a pulpit and benches donated by Capel Mawr. In the same year it moved to the British School until an appeal was laumched by The Rev. My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
