- Summary: Seion Methodist Chapel was built in 1801, enlarged in 1809, rebuilt in 1837 and again in 1883. The present chapel, dated 1883, is stone built in the Romanesque style with a gable entry plan. Seion is now Grade 2 Listed.
RCAHMW, December 2009 - Description: Stone-built chapel of 1881-83: "dark, snecked rubble with pale limestone dressings"; cornice and parapet to all elevations. 5-bay facade with centre loggia in 3-bay, pedimented centre. 3-bay loggia at ground floor below 3 round-headed first-floor windows; Doric columns; balcony. End bays with entrances beneath 1st-floor windows, each with cornice on brackets. Interior with boarded and panelled ceiling over continuous gallery,' the organ loft front lower; organ installed ca. 1914. Timber gallery front with "pierced scrolled panels". Panelled Sedd Fawr enclosure. Vestry at rear above caretaker's accommodation (information from Cadw resurvey list description of 19/02/1997; OMJ).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
