- Summary: Pen-y-Bryn Chapel was built in 1815 and rebuilt in 1861 to the design of architect Ishmael Jones. The chapel was rebuilt again in 1871, to the design of Richard Owen of Liverpool and for a third time in 1886. Pen-y-Bryn was demolished by the date of the 3rd edition O.S. map 1911-1918 and now only the burial ground remains.

Rebuilt/modified again & schoolroom added 1871, to the design of Richard Owen of Liverpool. Further rebuilt/modified 1886. Demolished by the date of the 3rd edition O.S. map 1911-1918. Only burial ground remains.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
