- Summary: Bodoryn Independent Chapel was built in 1825, renewed in 1848 and rebuilt in 1866. The present chapel, dated 1866, is built in the Gothic style with a side-entry plan. By the 1980's Bodoryn had been converted for residential use.

It was not possible to renew the lease of the original chapel at St George; a new chapel was built at Bodoryn, on land [also] belonging to H R Hughes of Kinmel, and at his expense (information from E W Williams, Abergele: the story of a parish (Abergele: the author, 1968).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
