RCAHMW, November 2009 - Description: Chapel built 1863 & vestry added 1930. Simple round-headed style, gable entry plan. Status (1998): in chapel use.
Land for the 1863 chapel was bought and invested in trust for the Baptist Association; "and that all churches in the Association will make collections to assist the brethren to pay for the land and to build a chapel thereon". 300 was reuired, 60 of which had to be obtained by 1 November 1858 or the deposit was to be forfeited and the site lost. The money was forthcoming and the site secured (information and extracts from Ellis Wynne Williams, Abergele: the story of a parish (Abergele: the author, 1968).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
