- Summary: Jezreel Baptist Chapel was built in 1829 and rebuilt in 1842 in the Simple Round-Headed and Vernacular style of the long-wall entry type. The rendered main facade has entry porches at each end with intersecting glazed gallery windows over, flanking a pair of tall leaded glazed windows & plaque, all with moulded hoods & keystone.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and Other Religious Buildings in Wales and Monmouthshire census), it was large enough to house 230 with a further 80 in the Sunday school, and was valued at £1000. By 1998 Jezreel had fallen into dereliction. - Description: 1. Cause begun1821 & chapel built 1829; rebuilt 1841/2. Built in the Simple Round-Headed and Vernacular style, long-wall entry type. Status (1998): derelict.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
