- Summary: Blaen-Waun Methodist Sunday School was built in 1880 in the Vernacular style of the gable entry type. By 1998 Blaen-Waun had fallen into dereliction. It is now converted into a house.
The chapel is entered by a single plain door in the gable wall with a simple flat headed window above. There are two tall round headed windows in each long wall, whilst the vestry is lit by a pair of flat headed windows. In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and Other Religious Buildings in Wales and Monmouthshire census), it had space for 82 people, and was valued at £142. - Description: School Chapel built 1880 in vernacular style, gable entry type. Early to mid C19th, stone-built, single storey, lateral façade chapel with gable-end entry, in-line vestry, slate roof & detached adjacent chapel house. The chapel with 2 round-headed windows & vestry with flat-headed doorway & window, all of brick voussoirs, share the same long-wall façade.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
