- Summary: Blaen-Plwf Methodist Chapel was built in 1819 and rebuilt in 1878, in the Sub-Classical style of the gable entry type, to the design of architect David Williams of Aberystwyth. There is a porch in centre of 3 bay façade, with a triple round-headed window above and a round ventilation window in the gable. The flanking bays each contain long sub-divided round headed windows.
Large enough to house a congregation of 300 in 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and Other Religious Buildings in Wales and Monmouthshire census), when it was worth £1400. - Description: Cause begun 1802 & chapel built 1819. (Re)built 1878/9. Built in the Sub-Classical style, gable entry type, to the design of David Williams of Aberystwyth. Status (1998): in chapel use.
Ca 1878, stone-built , 2-storey, gable-end-entry plan chapel with porch to 3-bay façade. Main façade ofrock-faced stone & polychrome brick dressings to round-headed windows, with voussoir gable recesses between columns. 4-bay side elevations with round-headed windows. Chapel house, vestry & stable attached at rear with graveyard beyond.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
