- Summary: The cause was started in 1869, and the first Penuel Methodist Chapel was built in 1872, then being rebuilt in 1910 and renovated in 1940.
The present chapel is of the gable entry type, with all elevations rendered. The front facade faces onto the road and a prominent feature is a gabled porch built of yellow brick, entered by a flat-headed doorway with a plain boarded door. There is a tall round-headed window to either side, and a large circular window above with marginal galzing with radiating glazing bars.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 200 sittings in the Sunday school which was valued at £250. - Description: Cause begun 1869; chapel built 1872 & rebuilt 1910. Building style is simple round-headed, gable entry type. Status (1998): in chapel use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
