- Summary: The cause for this chapel, and the first building, were established in 1785 in Bettews Bledrws parish, while the first Maesyffynnon Methodist Chapel on this site was built in 1836. The chapel was subsequently rebuilt in 1881.
The chapel is built in the sub classical style, being cement rendered on all elevations. A gable entry type, the front façade faces onto the road with its dominant feature being the large arch which encloses the central round-headed doorway and the triple, round-headed window above it. Two tall single windows of similar style flank the arch, with a further three lighting each side elevation.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 250 sittings in the chapel which was valued at £600. - Description: Chapel built 1836/7. Rebuilt 1881 in Sub-Classical style, gable entry type. Sunday School formed 1810. Status (1998): in chapel use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
