- Summary: Tan-y-Bryn Methodist Chapel was built in 1830 and rebuilt in 1864 in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type. A schoolroom and school house were added in 1834. By 1998 Tan-y-Bryn Had fallen into dereliction.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 120 sittings in the chapel which was valued at £560.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
