- Summary: Bethel Methodist Chapel was built in 1901, in the Classical style of the gable-entry type. The façade is dominated by a large arc enclosing the central doorway and two round-headed gallery windows with a glazed roundel above. The arch is flanked by two tall round-headed windows with round-headed glazing. A further three similar, tall windows in the side elevations.
The first chapel on this site, Capel Enoch (NPRN 12132) was built in 1812, situated at the far end of the graveyard it is was used as the Sunday School but now stands derelict.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 340 sittings in the chapel which was valued at £1000.

An application to turn the disused site into an office/light industrial complex has been turned down.
Capel, Spring 2010 - Description: Cause begun 1812 & first chapel built 1833. Rebuilt on new site 1901 (1903); building style is Classical, gable entry type. A prominent feature of this Chapel is the large arch in the facade. Status (1998): in chapel use.
The cause was established in 1812 in the house of Enoch Jones. (Horsfall-Turner).
The original Capel Enoch (NPRN 12132), built in 1833, is still standing at the far end of the grave yard. This was used as the Sunday School when the second chapel was built, Bethel (NPRN 7291), in 1901. The former is now derelict. (Penny Icke 06/02/1997).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
