- Summary: Ciliau Unitarian Chapel was built in 1755 and rebuilt in 1899. The present chapel is a single storey building built in the Gothic style of the long-wall entry type.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 250 sittings in the chapel, which was valued at £1,120.
The Rev Ceredig Jones is buried in the graveyard. The poet-priest David Davis (Dafis Castellhywel, 1745-1827) had his first ministry in this chapel.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
