- Summary: The cause for Bryn Seion Methodist Chapel started in 1873, with the chapel built in 1874 . The chapel is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type, with a prominent large arch in the facade.
In 1905 (Royal Commission on the Church of England and other Religious Bodies in Wales and Monmouthshire) there were 150 sittings in the chapel and it was valued at £880.
By 1998 the chapel had been converted for residential and commercial use (flat, crafts and tea shop).
RCAHMW, November 2009 - Description: Cause begun 1873; built 1874 (1883?). Building style is simple round-headed, gable entry type. A prominent feature of this Chapel is the large arch in the facade. Status (1998): other (residential & commercial).
Converted to an hostel for Presbyterian Church of Wales but notice board outside Aberporth Chapel still lists services held at Bryn Seion (DJP 06/02/1997).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
