- Summary: The cause of Tan-y-Groes was begun in 1742, although the first chapel was not built until 1849. This was rebuilt on a larger scale in 1882. The chapel is stone built with a slate roof, and is a long-wall entry type, combined with a gable over the centre. The style is of the simple round-headed type, withe plain twin doorways flanked by round-headed windows.

Early-to-mid C19 lateral-facade chapel, here combined with a gable (transition between side-wall and end wall types?) ...... (information from Cadw resurvey list for Communities of Aberporth and Penbryn).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
