- Summary: Seion Methodist Chapel was built in 1841, replacing the earlier chapel (NPRN 6768) which was taken over by the Baptists. The prsent chapel, dated 1841, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable-entry type. the chapel id Grade 2 listed.
RCAHMW, September 2009 - Description: Built in 1841 replacing the earlier chapel (NPRN 6768) which was taken over by the Baptists. Built in the Simple Round-Headed style, gable entry type. Status (1995): in chapel use. Date of present chapel Mid-C19th.
Chapel rebuilt on the present, new, site in 1841, having initially been built on the site of Bwthyn Rhyd, formerly Siloam Chapel (NPRN: 6768) in 1819; stone built and slate roofed chapel with gable façade: paired 18-pane sash windows with margin panes and round-arched heads: flanking semi-circular doorways: stone voussoir heads. Interior with tiered seating and panelled ceiling (information from Cadw resurvey list description of 21/02/1996; OMJ).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
