- Summary: Carmel Welsh Independent Chapel was built in 1827/8. The chapel was rebuilt/enlarged in 1851/2 and further modified in 1872 and 1882. The present buiding largely dates from 1882, and it in the simple round-headed style, with a gable-entry plan. The chapel is rendered and whitewashed, with partial slating to the side elevations and a slate roof. The front gable has a central arched door, with two arched lights above, and flanked by two long narrow arched windows. The side elevations have tall paned arched windows.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
