- Summary: Hen Filo Chapel was built in 1831, then rebuilt in 1850 by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. The present building, dated 1850, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type. By 1905, after the building of a new chapel (NPRN 6478) this old chapel served as the Sunday School.

This is the old chapel. The 1851 Religious Census and date plaque refer to a chapel built in 1831 and rebuilt in 1850, the Census mentioning "27 Pews Private Individuals". My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
