- Summary: MaescannerBaptist Church was built in 1863 and rebuilt in 1888. The present church, dated 1888, is built in the Romanesque style of the gable entry type. C.1912 the interior was entirely rebuilt to the design of architect Mr Griffiths of Llanelli. The building is listed Grade 2 as a 'chapel with an unaltered front of the mid-Victorian period and a fine interior incorporating plasterwork and joinery of a high order'.

This was a branch of Bethel Baptist Church and first met, pre-1863, in a house in Globe Row, Dafen (Cadw). The present church (chapel) was formed in 1864 (1998 Llawlyfr) and built in 1863. Ca. 1912, the interior was entirely rebuilt to the design of the Llanelli archictect, Mr Griffiths (Cadw). Status (1998): in Baptist use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
