- Summary: Horeb Independent Chapel was built in 1830 and rebuilt in 1853 to the design ofarchitect John Lewis of Brechfa. The chapel was renovated in 1891. The present chapel, dated 1853, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type.

Construction - main walls of chapel, random stone rubble walling rendered over with a cement facing and pebble dashed (recent modern covering). Vestry random stone rubble walling unrendered and whitewashed. Roofs are timber framing with Welsh slate. Interior furnishings are of a good quality and finish. My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
