- Summary: Saron baptist Church was built in 1890 to replace the original chapel (NPRN97167) on an adjacent site. The church was then rebuilt in 1913 in the classical style of the gable entry type.
RCAHMW, June 2009 - Description: Built in 1890 to replace original chapel (NPRN97167) adjacent, The church was formed 1824, built in 1814, rebuilt/modified 1863/5, 1890 & rebuilt 1912/13. Built in classical style, gable entry type. Status (1998): in chapel use.
Main walls & gable façade of square rough dressed stonework. Quoins, dripstones & arches to windows, walls & doorways outlinded in Bath or similar stonework. Side elevations, gable end & lean-to at rear of random rubble stonework rendered with a cement plaster facing. Roofs of timber framing clad with Welsh slate.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
