- Summary: A meeting house was first built on the site of the Isaac Welsh Independent Chapel in 1672, but it was rebuilt in 1780 and/or 1790, and the current chapel dates from 1846. It is in the simple round-headed style of the long-wall entry type. The walls are of random rubble stone walling, rendered with cement plaster facing. The roof is timber framed with Welsh slate cladding.

Main walls random rubble stone walling rendered with cement plaster facing. Roof is timber framed with Welsh slate cladding. Vestry walls mixture of dressed and rubble stone walling (unrendered), roof is timber framed with Welsh slates. Stable out-building rubble stone walls rendered over with cement plaster facing. My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
