- Summary: Cwrtcadno Chapel was first built in 1809, and rebuilt again in 1848 and 1899. The present building, dated 1899, is designed by architect David Jenkins in the Art & Crafts style of the gable entry type.
RCAHMW, June 2009. - Description: Chapel first built before 1800 & [re?]built 1809; rebuilt again 1848 & 1899 in Art & Crafts style, gable entry type. Date plaque of an earlier chapel retained in the courtyard wall. Status (2000): in chapel use.
Square plan chapel, gable-end façade, rendered, hipped roof with huge ventilator perched on top. Dove grey with cream mouldings and brown lettering, door, and bargeboards. The word Methodist is divided up in an amusing way, METH-O-DIST.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
