- Summary: Ebenezer Methodist Chapel was built in 1824 and altered/rebuilt in 1856, before closing in about 1920. The chapel was Simple Round-Headed in style and of the gable entry type. In 1995 the building was demolished to make way for a Job Centre. The burial ground remains to the north, with iron railings by Isaac Williams & Son and some interesting tombs.

A local Welsh Wesleyan Society was set up in 1808. The chapel was built in 1824; it had late-C19 gates and railings by Isaac Williams & Son, Founders, Carmarthen. It closed as a chapel ca. 1920 (Lodwick, Story of Carmarthen (1972)) and was used for other purposes, by 11/1953 serving as an implement store (MHLG Provisional List).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
