- Summary: Bethesda Baptist Chapel was built in 1843 and rebuilt in 1882 by architect Joseph Tracey of Glanaman. The chapel is built in the Classical style of the gable entry type.
RCAHMW, June 2009. - Description: Chapel built in 1843- 4, as Particular Baptist; rebuilt in 1882 (cost £1000) in Classical style, gable entry type. Status (1998):chapel.
Chapel complex main walls random stone rubble walling rendered over with cement plaster facing. Roofs are timber framing clad with Welsh slate.
Interior furnishings of good quality, pulpit a fine example of its type with five silver panels with raised images and inscriptions. Burial groud gravestones have been removed and re-set against the boundary walls and the area has been grassed over. Notes from I D Jones 23/11/1997.
