- Summary: Philadelphia Chapel was built in 1838, rebuilt in 1860 and remodelled internally in 1879. The 1860 exterior is Gothic in style with a long-wall entry plan and unusual ogee window and doorway heads. By 2008 the chapel had been converted into a dwelling.
RCAHMW, June 2009. - Description: The chapel was built ca. 1836, probably 1838, rebuilt in 1860 and remodelled, especially internally, in 1879. The building was transferred to the Presbyterian Church in 1904. Gothic style, long-wall entry type with unusual ogee window and doorway heads which probably date from the 1860 rebuild.. Status (2000): chapel.
Originally early C19th, stone-built, Picturesque Gothic, long-wall-entry plan with 'ogee'-headed windows & round-headed tracery. Now with later end-chimney, single lobby-entry, & pulpit at end opposite fireplace (GAW 24/04/1998).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
